Before becoming a charter captain, Captain Robert spent 12 years working as a commercial fisherman, running a shrimping boat out of Corpus Christi, Texas. This background gave him a deep understanding of various fishing techniques and marine life, which he now applies to his Lake Michigan fishing charters. In 1991, he transitioned into the charter fishing industry, purchasing his own boat just a few years later.
